This is the best of the best. I love the pictures and hoping the “store” is gone when I open Mac today. I had my I-pad open this morning and it was gone. I have the Lite version there and it lacks very little. I LOVE IT. I do alot of bible study on the internet and it is the Precept where we dig deep in the lesson. I need all the help I can find. Doing the Beatitudes now and I loved the enlarged picture where it took place. Also who and what Jesus saw when he looked down from the cross. I did not have this a week ago. Don’t know if the program had been updated as I have the premium on my Mac and the Lyte one on my I-pad. The glo-bible service is very good but I am 85 and don’t take written instructions very well any more but the support group in Glo Bible is very patient with me. I want to tell everyone about this wonderful program and I will. My neighbor got it right away after I showed her how it works. Thanks alot and continue with good works.

I love using this app. It has a bunch of awesome resources that has helped me with many of my classes. Literally the only problem I have with it (which is probably just a problem of my own) is the store button keeps getting in the way of one or two words at the bottom and I think I’m too stupid to figure out how to get it off.

I love the Glo, i love the fact that I can make my own Bible studies or study one already developed. it has many plus sides. what I am unhappy with is the constant “freezing” of the app. the only way I can move is to force quit If the “freezing up” can be fixed then it will be perfect for mr

I absolutly love this app. I am a Bible student in college and this app is perfect for my needs. I didn’t expect much out of it however, I was pleasently surprised with the fact that it is a good jump start for exegeting a passage. However, I wish that the interface worked better. If the interface worked with exposé it would be almost perfect.

The Glo bible software is not only immersive and captivating it is visually accurate to the word of God in it’s entirety.

This program allows you to immerse yourself into bible study. It has the history and archeology covered as well as videos of present day and is very easy to use and navigate. The only issue is that I would like to see a NRSV study bible add on. It is well worth the price

Ive been a long time iPad user, and I only use this app occasionally on the Mac now. Im disappointed that it doesnt even have the option to display in night mode on the desktop, as there is the option on the iPad. STILL, after many updates, the bug where it shows highlighting in odd places when switching between translations has not been fixed. You have to be in the translation that you highlighted in to see correct highlight locations. In addition, if we paid full price for the app, it would be nice to have a full app on the iPad. Ridiculous that its not ported completely over. There is no reason for this.

I’ve tried for a year to like this Bible but this is a heavily biased application towards one particular faith. Upon study it pays credit to locations, documentation, theology etc that are not technically accurate, but traditional and based on one particular faith. It then discredits other locations, documentation and theological material even thou they are more technically accurate. Read the foot notes of the garden tomb then read the foot notes holy sepulcher for one example. Bible states Christ Tomb was outside the Gate and wall. This would make the Garden Tomb a more viable location. Yet this app states the traditional holy sepulcher ( located inside the wall ) as accurate and the Garden Tomb is not. There is a consistant bias throughout this app. Not useful for an honest unbiased theological study. Its a fanciful app. Attractive to the eye. Impressive on the surface but disingenuous in content. Lots of milk and no meat. P.S. Recently, the foot note has been changed to be even more disingenuous. Stating it was once outside the wall. Having surveyed and visited this site many times the church of the holy sepulcher is in the heart of Hadrian’s city and well within the Old City walls which were built by Sultan Suleyman in 1538. Everyone should research this themselves using a separate source. There are far more accurate and Biblical applications available. This one is misleading on many fronts.

I’m puzzled by the negative reviews. Their strident tone makes me suspicious of their motives. My own experience with this app is 100% positive, based on dozens of hours spent using the first module, which gives splendid, nearly breath-taking access to the Bible itself. I find the beauty, design, and functioning of the app to be far superior to any other bible app, and I have purchased and used at least a dozen of them. Since finding Bible Glo Premium, it have made it my “go to” app for the text of the Bible and for the excellent accompanying notes. It offers five English translations of the Bible. My personal preference is for the NIV version and notes. I consider this app a particular treasure which I heartily recommend to anyone who wants to experience the beauty and power of the Bible. This app delivers better than any other app I know.

The engineering that went into creating this beautiful program and the time and information. Even the way you can move around , zoom in, zoom out, see anything and everything you want. Theres nothing you cant see or experience regarding the Bible in this program. Its worth way more than its purchase price. I appreciate the people who designed this app. It has brought enthusiasm in me again to experience the Bible.

This is a very user friendly bible reader. I made the in app purchase of the ESV Study Bible and have impressed. More than anything else, I love that this program syncs with my Glo Bible on the iPhone. I can follow my studies wherever I go on whatever device I’m using.

I have had Bible Glo installed for 7-10 months, didn’t think I needed the Premium features. I have missed the added functionality of delving deeper into God’s word that Premium provides, and didn’t realize it. Thanks for making this app so rich and helping me go deeper than I have been.

The original version had less issues than the Premiuim version. Also tech support is hard to navigate and slow to respond. Bible Glo visuals on the other hand is useful for Bible study and sermon presentation. Theologically this needs to be more accurate with the information it provides.

But I must say that this app is weird. I’m not sure what I bought it and wasted my money on this. The last update was in March 2014. It seems to me that the creator of this app or software doesn’t keep up with it or send out frequent updates. Hard to use. Spend a little more and get the Logos Software. It’s much more functional and has everything you need and more. If I could ask for a refund, I would. I never use this app. It just sits in my application folder year after year. The app store said I purchased it in 2012. Now, it’s almost 2015. I used it 3-4 times. People spend money on this software, the most they could do is keep up with the updates and push them out when they can.

this app brings the bible to life for me. It really help me understand events and puts me in the times, a really great visual. Well worth the money! saves me a lot of time on research and is a really helpful study guide.

This is by far the best Bible Study App, However it’s currently useless and has been for several months now. For the amount of money this app cost i expect it to work, crashes every two minutes. So insted of an hour of Bible study i only get 30 min please fix ASAP.

I have things to learn, but their is now denying its a monumental effort at being great. I’ll let you know how great, cuz its massive & will keep me very happy for a long time. Few learning curves, I just bought it for my mac mini, now I”m really equipped. I phone & mac-mini. Thank you guys for all you wonderful gifts and passing them on to me.

I contacted them about the issue again, and they won’t even return an email anymore. Now i even have to force quit to get out of the app. GLO support is horrible. I used to love this app and used it daily. Ever since upgrading to Yosemite, the app went down hill. I understand that it takes time to fix an issue, But it’s been three months now. At least reply back and let us know what’s going in.

I would love a wider variety of Bible versions, and a mobile app to compliment what I use on my laptop! That would really take it to the next level of greatness!
