Bible Glo Premium App Reviews

Bible Glo offers a multi-media presentation of the word which helps with more complete understanding and comprehension of the situation and application to ones own spiritual journey. I am not that familiar with other products in this space but there are certain features available that I really like: - The ease to jump from passage to picture to chronology - The ability to record notes against certain passages and chapters for later review or more research - The reading plans which are goal oriented and allow for continuity while on a non-regular schedule - The different ways to navigate through the product. For these reasons I gave it three stars, perhaps after using the product more, the rating will be highe Things I dont like and hope they can be improved: - Not a very easy to understand navigation, while powerful, it seems blunt - Quirky syncing, Im not really sure it is working sometimes although it may just be the way Im using the product - Picture granularity, great pictures but Id like to be able to zoom in more. All in all a good solid product that has definite room to grow.

I am a Youth Minister, and I love this on my MacPro. It is great and easy to use, but that might be because I am only 19. This app lets me show my students places in the bible what they look like. YouVersion also is a major plus, I have it as my iPhone Bible. This is a great app I would tell anyone to get this if they are in the ministry. Dylan - Oklahoma

The Bible Glo deserves 10 stars as it is the most valuable Bible format I have used. The photographs, artwork and maps brings the Bible so ALIVE. Having all the visual resources assists me to imagine to the best of my capacity to really experience the Gospel. Being able to use this Bible Glo app with not only my MacBook Pro but as well with my other devices and the significance of not only being able to travel anywhere and have your Bible tucked away safe where ever I go, but because of its capability to sync with all my mobile devices keeps me focused and on tract. WAY TO GO BIBLE GLO!!!

Love it so far. My only complaint would be that the "Store" icon is ALWAYS at the bottom of the screen and interferes with the reading!! Also, how come there arent any notes for the KJV or ESV? Other than that, its a REALLY great product!!!! Not to mention I can put it on 5 devices at once!

The Glo Bible is magnificent in its display of The Word with great explanations of every verse. My only criticism is that the store Icon shows up and blocks some of the writing at the bottom of the page.

I still cannot believe just how much this app includes that study bibles just do not have the space or collective resources to touch on. It really is an answer to my prayers as I have been looking to dive much deeper into the scripture. That being said, I am not a fan of having to constantly read around the "Store" icon. very annoying.

Tons of little fun and interesting features. Great for getting a little way into Gods Word. I recommend it for the person who knows a little about the Bible, but wants to expand on that knowledge with factoids and graphics that illustrate Bible places. It is quite good at that. I would love to see some more in-depth resources (interlinear Hebrew/Greek, imbedded word study tools, Amplified Bible). Very good, overall, though. The search function is a little clunky and provides way too much information to sift through. I use the desktop, the iphone, and the iPad version. The desktop version is not nearly as smooth as the ipad version.

- Study notes are good, but are clearly just taken from an NIV study bible, and sometimes reference images/tables/maps that arent in Glo Bible. - "Store" button wont go away. Theyve fixed this in the download version, but havent updated the App Store version. - Reading plans tend to mark a section "read" too easily, making them hard to use without manually keeping track of which part of the plan youre on. - Ability to look up passages by topic is very handy, - 3D graphics of the temple (tent and solid versions) are great and help add context to biblical text - photos and maps of relevant places in the bible help bring the text to life.

Great study tool the compatability with facebook and twitter is great. I would like to see more versions like the NASB made available. Would be good to have concordance availability for deeper study. Love the connectivity with correlary scriptures allows you to take a theme and chase it pretty deeply. Needs a stronger word search capability. Overall, love it would encourage you to continue to improve the details.

The app needs to go deeper into study of the Word with concordances and notes that ARENT JUST NIV!!! Other than that the icon is a hassle to read around and the search engine isnt that great at all. Please do some fixing to this app!!!

This is the Bible study tool I’ve needed for many years. This app combines scholarly research features with intuitive functionality that anyone can master. In my humble opinion, this is the best application for anyone struggling with reading and understanding the Scriptures and/or with setting up a daily Bible study routine.

I download the program from the App store and it worked great and I really liked it until I updated my computer to the new Maverick system. Now all I get is a log in screen that will not even let me create an account. For the most part it freeze”s my computer and I have to force quite the program. Not good, can not even access the program to search for updates. I can only hope they fix this issue real soon!!!

It looks so good,but it crashes all the time. and the “atlas” is not clear for retina screen. I hope they can fix it

The depth and breadth of Glo is vast and extrememly resourceful. Its the journey you take to get the information IMO that negatively the overall perfromace rating. Love the cloud interface with YouVersion!!

Enjoy using the app — however the desktop version on my mac pro crashs way too often — every time i select the me lens from the home screen the app locks up — i am finding work arounds but overall program is very unstable on desktop — the mobile version never seems to crash

The integration between the text, maps, timeline, and visuals is very helpful in making connections — especially in seeing how God is active throughout time and place in redeeming us. The media and visuals collect some of the best public domain art and illustrations related to the text — a big time saver.

Great Bible app across all my platforms. Dissapointed in that store icon hovering around the bottom of the page. I wish syncing was done better across my multiple macs and ios devices. I’d like a better note system Search feature needs to be improved Can be buggy at times on the Mac version and iOS(while writing this review I had to force quit the app) Click and drag to turn the page can be frustrating at times, Mac OS has great gestures glo bible should make use of those(had to force quit again) I still think that the Glo Bible app is one of the best, but their are a few things that need work!
