This is an amazing app if it actually worked and the IT department actually cared that it crashes upon startup each and every time. You can only use it offline mode which means that many of the features are not usable. I have submitted several service requests but they don’t seem to have any interest in fixing it. Really sad. For now stay away from this app and look elswhere.

I really like this Bible app and all it resources I’d give it 5 stars (I gave it a 4, but really wanted to give it a 3.5) if it didnt crash every now and then. For a paid app of this price youd think this would not be an issue at all.

Ive been using Glo Bible since 2011 and think it is a fantastic application! It is arguably one of the best Bible applications of its kind out there! But Im very disheartened by the lack of OS X support, and that disappointment continues to grow… I would love nothing more than to give Glo Bible 5 stars (which it truly deserves). But the fact remains that the OS X version of this application has not been updated in roughly a year 1/2, and is prone to frequent crashing (especially when attempting to sync journal notes and bookmarks). Syncing performance was poor in later releases of OS X Mavericks, and since the release of OS X Yosemite, repeat crashing due to syncing issues essentially renders this application useless. With the release of OS X El Capitan drawing closer, and no news (at this point and time) from the developer signaling support for it, I would encourage you to wait a bit longer for a possible update, or purchase the IOS version which works fine. Otherwise (dare I say it) consider an alternative. But I really hope an update is forthcoming, because this really is an awesome application (when it works).

I’m a long time user and supporter of Glo, having used their product (including the Premium version) since 2010. It has been a great application to this point, and has been one of my two go-to Bible study programs through the years. However, I recently started having serious issues with as it began crashing every time I opened it on my MacBook. So I sent a message to Glo to see if they could help me resolve the issue. Here is the response I received in it’s entirety: "Thank you for contacting Support for your Powered by Glo application. At this time OS Mavericks is the latest OS that Glo supports, thanks for your feedback I will share it with our developers. Sincerely," And that’s it. Nothing more. Not even so much as an expected update or anything else. Yosemite has been available to developers for over a year, and all they can tell me is that Glo does not support it? That simply does not make sense to me. If you have Yosemite, do not purchase this app until it supports the current Apple operating system. If it weren’t for this one, very big issue, this would be a 4.5 star app.

From Glo Lite, followed the link to and downloaded Premium from the app store. When installation completed, hit the “OPEN” button. The developer is not/ was not listed as a ‘secure’ provider. Had adjust ‘Security Preferences’ to clear and open the app. Once open, the app crashed nearly instaneously. Tried again, again, and again. No Glo, no go. Will return this batch and wait for something better to come along. For now, Glo is not a good choice for those who keep their Apple machines pristine and up-to-date. (Running El Capitan 10.11.1)

So sad IN CHRIST this bible B.I.B.L.E BEST INFORMATION BEFORE LIEAVING EARH CRASHES .IT SO SO SAD BECAUSE THE WORD BECAME FLESH ON EARTH….

The developers don’t keep the App current with the OS X updates. They are currently 8 months behind and if you updated since Septemeber 2015 the Glo app will no longer work. Customer service does not seem to be interested in keeping the App up to date even after contacting them. Don’t spend the money if you keep your software up to date because you won’t be able to use it.
